pubmed-article:7644985 | pubmed:abstractText | After alleged sexual abuse in a day care centre, 50 children were referred to the Department of child- and adolescent psychiatry in Trondheim. The children showed symptoms of emotional distress at referral. Group work was offered to the children and their parents. This article describes the group model used to help 36 children and their parents, and the clinical experiences. Group work with children and parents may be a good alternative to individual treatment in similar situations. | lld:pubmed |
