Transmural involvement was inferred from the findings of dense eosinophilic infiltrates in the jejunal mucosa and eosinophilia in the ascitic fluid. An impressive response to steroid treatment occurred. The reported cases of eosinophilic gastroenteritis with ascites are reviewed. | lld:pubmed |
