Under defined conditions, mature erythrocytes are agglutinated selectively whereas reticulocytes remain suspended as single cells in the supernatant fluid. With this procedure an enrichment of reticulocytes of about tenfold with a maximum recovery of nearly 100% was achieved. | lld:pubmed |
