pubmed-article:7198920 | pubmed:abstractText | The time course of the noradrenaline content was studied on isolated rat auricles, ventricles and portal vein during emotional-painful stress (EPS). It was revealed that after the EPS termination the content of noradrenaline decreased by 23% in the auricle, by 54% in the ventricle and by 84% in the vein whereupon the process of recovery sets in. In the portal vein, that process is marked by a greater duration and is wave-like in nature. The correlation is discussed between the intensity of the stress damage of an organ and the degree of poststressful changes in the noradrenaline content. | lld:pubmed |
