The finding that both structures showed a common ligant-induced redistribution implies that choleragen receptors of the cell membrane are associated with the thymocyte-brain molecule. Furthermore, it was found that the thymocyte-brain antigenic determinants on the thymocyte were not blocked by prior choleragen treatment.
