| pubmed-article:6626278 | pubmed:abstractText | A 20-year community-based study of the epidemiology of juvenile arthritis in Rochester, Minnesota from January 1, 1960 to January 1, 1980 is described. Cases were identified using the 1977 revised American Rheumatism Association criteria for juvenile arthritis. Higher incidence and prevalence rates and a greater predominance of pauciarticular disease were observed than previously reported. Lower rates were observed when a minimum of 3 months' disease duration was used to identify incidence. | lld:pubmed |
