pubmed-article:6215096 | pubmed:abstractText | Indirect immunofluorescence technique using an antibody against bovine pancreatic polypeptide has allowed us to detect immunoreactive cells in the small intestine of the monkey Macaca irus. These cells are located almost exclusively in the wall of Lieberkuhn's glands, especially in the jejunum and, in a smaller number, in the duodenum; these cells are scattered, always isolated, never in clusters; immunoreactive cells were never seen in the colon. There were no sex-linked differences in the morphology as well as in the distribution of these immunoreactive cells. | lld:pubmed |
