Clinical and radiologic awareness of this extremely rare entity will allow optimal study of bronchial secretions in the bacteriology laboratory. Important clues include: (1) exposure to thorny plants, (2) cavitary pulmonary disease resistant to both diagnosis and treatment, and (3) a history of alcoholism. | lld:pubmed |
