pubmed-article:4049319 | pubmed:abstractText | Tissue-type plasminogen activator (t-PA) exists in two active forms, one-chain t-PA and two-chain t-PA. These two forms differ in their kinetic constants for certain substrates. An assay has been devised to determine the composition of unknown mixtures of both t-PA forms, using the activity measurement on two different substrates. The best results are obtained using plasminogen and less than Glu-Pro-Arg-pNA as substrates. | lld:pubmed |
