This case report demonstrates the need for considering C. trachomatis as the cause of persistent or recurrent conjunctivitis in a sexually active patient. Clinicians should be aware of the possibility of concurrent infections with Neisseria gonorrhoeae and C. trachomatis and should treat the patient accordingly. | lld:pubmed |
