The protein contains 62 amino acid residues and has a molecular mass of 6813 Da. The amino-terminal sequence is similar to that of a 13-residue segment at the amino terminus of the eclosion hormone of the silkworm Bombyx mori, but the hormone is not otherwise homologous with other hormones or proteins. | lld:pubmed |
