pubmed-article:3582676 | pubmed:abstractText | The surface M antigen of Brucella species has been identified as the lipopolysaccharide O-polysaccharide component composed of a repeating pentasaccharide unit containing a sequence of one 1,3- and four 1,2-linked, 4,6-dideoxy-4-formamido-alpha-D-mannopyranosyl units. A neutral polysaccharide produced by Brucella species and referred to as polysaccharide B (poly B) has been identified as a family of circular 1,2-linked polymers of beta-D-glucopyranosyl units ranging in ring size from 17 to 24 glucosyl units. | lld:pubmed |
