pubmed-article:3430271 | pubmed:abstractText | An infant with persistent vomiting was found to have methemoglobinemia. Review of his history revealed that he had been treated with metoclopramide. No other etiology of the methemoglobinemia was identified. It is concluded that the use of metoclopramide in a sick neonate can cause transient methemoglobinemia. Similar cases reported in the foreign literature are reviewed. | lld:pubmed |
