pubmed-article:2453756 | pubmed:abstractText | In a patient with recurrent head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, reconstruction of the floor of the mouth was carried out by transposition of a pectoralis major myocutaneous flap after composite resection. Twelve months after surgery, a chest wall metastasis corresponding to the site of the vascular pedicle was observed. It appears that the lymphatic and hematogenous tumor spread can occur along the vascular pathways of a transposed myocutaneous flap. | lld:pubmed |
