pubmed-article:2396546pubmed:abstractTextIn vivo measurements of relaxation time profiles were carried out in cats using the infusion model of edema. These profiles were correlated with independent gravimetric measurements of brain water. The results indicated that in vivo determinations of water content by MRI are possible with high spatial resolution.lld:pubmed
