pubmed-article:2347864pubmed:abstractTextA patient with a history of corrected Type B dissecting aortic aneurysm and current Type III dissection of the aortic arch was successfully treated with electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) without complications. During ECT, intravenous nitroprusside and esmolol drips with arterial line monitoring were used to control the rise in blood pressure and heart rate. This case provides further evidence that ECT can be administered safely to patients with aortic aneurysm.lld:pubmed
