Summarized from the results, the following conclusions are reached: a general rule existed between bone lesion and blood vessel damage--the destruction of the bone was more severe than that of the middle-sized arteries, the damage of middle-sized arteries was more severe than that of arterioles, and local proliferation of arterioles accompanied with bone lesions. Therefore, damage of the arterioles is not the main pathological findings of jaw ORN, the nature of ORN is direct injuries of radiation rays to bone tissues. | lld:pubmed |
