Nematode populations in these beds were compared during three seasons of continuous cropping to alfalfa, bean, eggplant, mint, sugarbeet, or wheat. Beds irrigated with canal water became heavily infested with a variety of plant parasitic nematodes while those receiving well water did not.lld:pubmed
