pubmed-article:1929165 | pubmed:abstractText | The authors report an analysis of 419 cases of operated peptic ulcer. 68.78% of patients had a mean follow-up of 4 years. After clinical and endoscopic examination, the results of the survey were assessed on the basis of various parameters, which demonstrated that the results of surgery were related to socio-occupational problems, smoking, the site of the ulcer, the stage, the history of the ulcer prior to the operation, the conditions of the operation and obviously the surgical technique used. | lld:pubmed |
