This large-scale retrospective review evaluates the sedation profile of dexmedetomidine. Aim: To determine the hemodynamic responses, efficacy and adverse events associated with the use of high dose dexmedetomidine as the sole sedative for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies.
