pubmed-article:16646918pubmed:abstractTextThe purpose of this article is to describe how a constructivist approach to learning, using an internet-based discussion board, can be used to support the reflection and dialogue of registered nurse students in a community health course in an accelerated RN-to-BS program. The constructivist structure of the course is described and insights from students shared, revealing learning in the areas of critical reflection, professional growth, and peer support.
