pubmed-article:15481837 | pubmed:abstractText | By help of thick transparent cross-sections of 10 thumbs, manufactured by plastination histology, it has been shown that the most fibres of the extensor pollicis brevis tendon insert on a special tubercle of the basis of the proximal phalanx. Our studies prove that the shape of this tubercle is configurated in the phalanx proximalis longitudinally between the first and second fifth part and in the wideness of the base, seen from radial to ulnar between the forth and fifth tenth part. | lld:pubmed |
