pubmed-article:14661153pubmed:abstractTextIn 2002 a survey of institutes of Medical Psychology was accomplished in order to describe the situation of the subject. As regards the content the survey referred to five scopes: structural conditions, teachings, research, health care as well as general questions about the situation of the discipline. All 35 addressed departments and institutes of Medical Psychology in Germany took part in the situation analyses of the subject and responded to a questionnaire. The results indicate strengths and weaknesses of the current situation of the discipline and will be discussed in terms of research, teaching, and clinical work.lld:pubmed
