pubmed-article:1218072 | pubmed:abstractText | Two experiments were conducted in Egypt to investigate the effect of sublethal concentrations of 2,4-D and Dicamba on the growth and yield of garden broad bean. It was found that 1. as compared to the effects of Dicamba, 2,4-D had a better stimulating effect on the growth characters, the yield, and the yield components of the beans 2. the application at the flowering stage was superior to the earlier application in every respect 3. the optimum rate of 2,4-D and Dicamba that gave the highest increase of the growth, yield, and yield components was 2-5 ppm. | lld:pubmed |
