pubmed-article:11190066 | pubmed:abstractText | This article describes the characteristics of H. pylori infection dynamics in early gastric cancer cases in Japan and the reduced likelihood of metachronous cancer development and growth inhibition by H. pylori eradication based on healing of background gastric mucosa. In the future, these clinical studies and experimental studies in Mongolian gerbils and mice should elucidate the role of H. pylori infection in the development of gastric carcinogenesis to clinical cancer on the genetic level so that gastric cancer prevention by H. pylori eradication is established. | lld:pubmed |
