pubmed-article:10981073 | pubmed:abstractText | Although approximately 90% of patients diagnosed with hypertension have essential hypertension, it is important that secondary hypertension is considered; diagnosed, when present; and managed either medically or surgically. This review focuses on recent findings and controversies about the adrenal medulla and, where appropriate, on the role of the adrenal medulla in hypertension. | lld:pubmed |
