Malignant Glioma

NCI: A malignant neuroglial neoplasm. The term can apply to several primary neoplasm of the brain and spinal cord, including astrocytoma and oligodendroglioma in addition to others.,NCI: A malignant tumor of neuroglial tissue. This term may be used to describe one of a number of primary neoplasms of the brain and spinal cord, including astrocytomas, ependymomas, neurocytomas, etc. Malignant gliomas are the most common primary tumors of the brain.
