MSH: An unpaired thin ploughshare-shaped facial bone. It is situated in the median plane of the SKULL. The vomer forms the posterior and inferior border of the NASAL SEPTUM.,NCI: A thin, paired or unpaired, trapezoidal bone of the skull located in the floor of the nasal cavity.
