UWDA: Lobular organ the parenchyma of which consists of glandular acini which communicate the oral cavity. Examples: parotid gland, sublingual gland, lingual salivary gland.,MSH: Glands that secrete SALIVA in the MOUTH. There are three pairs of salivary glands (PAROTID GLAND; SUBLINGUAL GLAND; SUBMANDIBULAR GLAND).,CSP: any of the three pairs of glands that secrete saliva in the mouth and aid in digestion.,FMA: Lobular organ the parenchyma of which consists of glandular acini which communicate the oral cavity. Examples: parotid gland, sublingual gland, lingual salivary gland.,NCI: A gland in the mouth that produces saliva.,NCI: An exocrine gland that secretes saliva. Salivary glands are mostly located in and around the oral cavity.
