NCI: Human KLK15 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 19q13.41 and is approximately 6 kb in length. This allele, which encodes kallikrein-15 protein, plays a role in protein degradation. Expression of the KLK15 gene is up-regulated in prostate cancer.
