PDQ: Obtained as a preparation of leaf pulp from the parenchymal tissue of Aloe vera (Liliaceae) and containing carbohydrate polymers, such as glucomannans or pectic acid, and various vitamins and essential amino acids, as well as other organic and inorganic compounds.
