pubmed-article:2672289 | pubmed:abstractText | Even today intracerebral aneurysms are a diagnostic challenge. CT is still the method of choice in the acute phase of subarachnoid haemorrhage. In later stages potential results of aneurysmal bleeding like oedema and infarction are better detected by MRI. Selective arteriography remains an obligatory element of radiologic diagnosis preoperatively and in cases of possible interventional proceedings.
