He stresses the importance of dealing with underlying psychological factors in the treatment of the condition.Dr A A Lewis discusses hormonal influences and advocates a high protein diet as being an acceptable means of achieving weight reduction.Professor John Yudkin shows that a low protein diet is impracticable, and stresses the importance of physical activity in the treatment of obesity. He advocates a low carbohydrate diet with unrestricted fat and protein.
