The compounds as well as cyclosporin A showed immunosuppressant activity in the mixed lymphocyte reaction, and pentalenolactone I and cyclosporin A suppressed IL-2 production, however, hygromycin A did not. Hygromycin A may have immunosuppressant activity by a different mechanism from pentalenolactone I, cyclosporin A and tacrolimus. | lld:pubmed |
