Tumor tissue specimens obtained at the time of disease diagnosis from patients with ovarian carcinoma were analyzed for cellular DNA content and CA-125 antigen expression. The presence or absence of aneuploidy did not influence the expression of the CA-125 antigen. In addition, both intra- and interlesional heterogeneity of cellular DNA content and CA-125 antigen expression were noted.
