Subclinical seizures (SCSs) are ictal electrographic discharges lacking clinical seizure signs or subjective symptoms. In this study, frequency, characteristics and diagnostic relevance of SCSs recorded by scalp-EEG were analyzed in a large population of children with focal epilepsy.
